Carbon Credits and Removals Lead, Google
Randy leads carbon removal for Google, which is one of the largest corporate supporters of early-stage carbon removal technologies. He is responsible for all aspects of Google's approach, from strategy to procurement to research and partnerships, with a mandate to help Google reach net zero in whatever way most helps the planet reach net zero. Randy is a member of the advisory board for both Frontier and Symbiosis, two corporate coalitions Google co-founded to advance the field. He has prior experience on the supply and intermediary sides of the carbon market (at Indigo and Patch), along with stints in consulting, philanthropy, and entrepreneurship. He has an MBA from Stanford and a BA from Yale, and is based in Cambridge, MA with his wife, cat, and two kids.
