About
Recent developments the world over have thrown light onto to the complexity of the supply chains that make almost everything work, and the time and money that many could save through simplification. In this pv magazine Webinar, we’ll hear how K2 is making connections all along the chain for rooftop PV systems, providing customers and installers with a single port of call for the whole PV system.

A PV system is made up of many different components: Modules and the mounting systems they attach to, as well as inverters and optimizers, the cables that connect it all, and the additional components that provide things like monitoring, wifi connectivity and user interface.

For installers, sourcing all of these materials through diverse distribution networks can be a challenge. And even once components are on-site, ensuring compatibility and timely commissioning present further challenges. Germany-based rooftop mounting systems supplier K2 is addressing these challenges, making connections with distributors and suppliers of the various system components, to firstly ensure smooth supply lines running through to the installer, and secondly to keep all project information in one easy to access place.

In this pv magazine Webinar, we’ll get into more detail about the challenges faced by installers in the rooftop segment, and the losses and delays that these can lead to if not addressed. Katrin Haberzettl, K2’s Product Manager, will take us through the company’s new products designed to support installers. And Willem Haag, Head of Sales at K2 will join to share more about the processes underlying this latest offering, and how K2 hopes to smooth out the whole process for rooftop installers, and ultimately to speed up the energy transition.
