Bree Murphy is a senior e-discovery and legal operations professional with nearly 30 years of experience helping organizations manage complex litigation, investigations and regulatory matters. Ms. Murphy partners with corporate legal departments to strengthen e-discovery and information governance programs, improve legal hold processes and implement practical workflows that reduce risk while increasing operational efficiency.
Prior to joining Exterro as a Senior Consultant and Strategic Account Executive, Ms. Murphy held e-discovery leadership roles at a global insurance company and a leading legal services provider. Her experience also includes complex commercial litigation support at several prominent Houston law firms and conducting anti-money laundering investigations for one of the nation's largest international financial institutions. Her background across law firms, service providers and corporate legal departments enables her to deliver practical guidance throughout the litigation lifecycle.
Ms. Murphy is a Certified eDiscovery Specialist (CEDS) and an active leader within the legal technology community. She currently serves as President for the Houston Chapter of ACEDS, serves on the EDRM 2.0 Committee and is a faculty member at The Center for Advanced Legal Studies. A frequent speaker and educator, Ms. Murphy regularly presents at conferences and industry events on e-discovery, legal technology and information governance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Texas A&M University and was recognized as the 2025 recipient of the Gayle O'Connor Spirit Award.

As a Litigation Business Developer, Karen enjoys driving efficiencies for clients and solving challenges in all areas of AI, electronic discovery, computer forensics, IT security, litigation readiness and data analysis. With over 25 years of experience in eDiscovery and specializing in the Energy sector and Healthcare industry, Karen brings an extensive, successful record of finding solutions that will enable clients to succeed.

Over the course of her career, Karen has held several executive roles in the legal services landscape. Prior to joining Exterro, Karen served as an account executive with an emphasis on energy-related companies. She began her career a paralegal with Vinson & Elkins but with a keen interest in technology and a "make it happen" attitude, she became involved with both Project Management and Marketing in the eDiscovery space. Networking is second nature to Karen and she thrives on meeting new people and connecting them with others who can help them solve challenges. Moving into Business Development was a natural evolution in her career which has brought success to her employers and provided experienced consultative advice to clients.

Karen is the Former Chairman of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's Wine Competition Committee, sits on the Host Committee for the Bush 41 Foundation Vintner Dinner. She's passionate about "selfless service", animals, her family ranch and this eDiscovery industry that has provided her with the opportunity to enjoy a successful and fulfilling lifestyle. Her loyalty and dedication to excellence she credits her undergraduate education from Texas A&M University and Master’s degree from George Washington University.

Linda has a passion for e-discovery and information lifecycle governance, along with the constantly evolving world that surrounds it. She found implementing a company-wide end-to-end platform to be an exciting and rewarding experience, viewing the process of driving a program to completion and seeing it come to life as truly fulfilling.

She brings strong interpersonal skills and deep industry knowledge, enabling her to collaborate effectively across all areas of a business to support information lifecycle governance and e-discovery best practices. Her professional approach, combined with a solid understanding of corporate, business, and insurance law, allows her to represent a legal firm, company, or individual in a positive and effective manner.
