Before taking up his position at SEA-LNG Steve was Head of Energy at managing consultants, Xyntéo. He began his career as a Geophysicist in BP, subsequently working in a variety of business development, strategy and analysis roles in the company’s gas, power & renewables and energy trading businesses. Steve has also worked in the City of London, for the Intercontinental Exchange, leading the development of financial instruments for the energy sector and for management consultants Afry Energy and Caminus Energy, where he specialised in providing advice on gas and power market policy; commodity trading and risk management and Carbon Capture and Storage.

Aisha Matayeva

A.P. Moller-Maersk | Future Fuels Manager

Aisha Matayeva is the Future Fuels Manager at Maersk Energy Markets, where she evaluates technologies and fuels to support the decarbonization efforts. She holds a PhD in Sustainable Industrial Chemistry and has several years of research experience in scaling up advanced biofuels technologies from laboratory to pilot plants. She is seconded to the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Zero Carbon Shipping, where she contributes to efforts to decarbonize the maritime industry.

Naomi van den Berg

Port of Rotterdam | Program Manager Sustainable Shipping

Naomi is passionate about shipping and sustainability and combines this in her role as Program Manager Sustainable Shipping at the Port of Rotterdam. She has an MSc in marine engineering and worked on various (international) partnerships in previous roles in the shipbuilding industry as well as in her detour to the clean cooking sector. Now, back in the maritime industry, she leverages this experience for the bunkering of alternative fuels, in the Green Corridor Rotterdam – Singapore and in various other projects across the value chain to accelerate the decarbonization of transport.

Daejin Lee

He began his career in dry bulk chartering and spent several years at Hanjin Shipping, where he worked as a Strategic Planning Manager and FFA Trader. In his previous role, as Director of Shipping Research at S&P Global Energy, Daejin led the firm’s core freight analytics and research capabilities.
