Commercial and industrial battery storage is attracting growing interest across Europe, but for many installers it remains a relatively new opportunity. Questions around system design, commissioning, site requirements, customer value, and project complexity can make that first commercial storage project feel like a significant step.
In this webinar, pv magazine will explore what really happens when small commercial storage moves from proposal to installation. Through a series of real European case studies featuring the TCL X5 – a 50kW/100kWh energy storage system (ESS) scalable to 400kW – we will examine how projects were specified, what challenges emerged on site, how they were overcome, and what results customers achieved.
The session will feature both commercial and technical perspectives. A TCL commercial specialist and an engineer directly involved in real installations will join pv magazine to share practical lessons from completed projects and explain what installers should consider when evaluating commercial storage opportunities.
Attendees will gain insight into project sizing, installation and commissioning requirements, backup power and generator integration, monitoring and system operation, and the factors that matter most to commercial and industrial customers when assessing storage investments.
Whether you are already delivering commercial storage projects or considering your first installation, this webinar will provide practical guidance, real-world experience, and actionable advice that can help you identify opportunities, communicate value to customers, and approach projects with greater confidence.
