About
In its first year of observations the JWST has made some stunning discoveries, revealing the earliest stars and galaxies to have formed after the Big Bang and pinpointing the chemical make-up of exoplanet atmospheres.

Our third talk will delve into these major discoveries and others across each of the telescope’s main science goals, and we’ll consider why it is that the observatory has been able to make them.

We’ll also look ahead at what is still to come, assessing where JWST’s discoveries could lead astronomers in the quest to understand the Universe.

In the second part of the Masterclass there is a Q&A with Dr Hendrik Melin and Editor Chris Bramley.

All registrants will have access to the Masterclass recording once the event has ended and will be able to watch this recording for a maximum of 10 times.
