Brent Beardall is the President & CEO of Washington Federal Bank, a national bank headquartered in Seattle, Washington. The company manages $16 billion in assets and 230 offices located in eight western states. The bank is unique in its approach of never selling its loans and providing technology that makes banking simple, reliable, and fast.  On April 1, 2017, he became only the sixth CEO in the bank’s 100 year history. Beardall joined Washington Federal Bank in 2001 and has previously served as its Controller, CFO, and Chief Banking Officer.  His challenge to all Washington Federal Bank employees is to “love what you do and make a difference”.

Beardall received a Masters Degree in Professional Accounting from Brigham Young University and was a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Washington State. He graduated from Stanford University’s Executive Program in August 2013. In 2012, he was recognized as “CFO of the Year” by the Puget Sound Business Journal and currently serves on the boards of the United Way of King County and YMCA of Greater Seattle. He lives in Sammamish with his wife Jennifer and children Thomas (21) Caitlyn (19) and Jack (12).
