Erectile dysfunction (ED) affects more than 30 million men in the U.S. It is especially common in men with prostate surgery, diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity. However, it is now possible to treat almost all men with ED! ED undermines a man’s sexual confidence – but successful treatment can help restore it! Many ED treatments are covered by most insurance and prescription plans. Attend a FREE Men’s Health Patient Webinar co-sponsored by Coloplast and Dr. Fisher to educate men and their partners about approved ED treatment options. Since there is no registration process for this program, your participation will be anonymous.

Urologist with Florida Urology Partners

Sam Fisher, MD, is a urologist at Florida Urology Partners in Tampa, Florida. His goal is to help patients achieve their short and long term goals, improve their quality of life, and treat acute and life threatening issues with state-of-the-art treatments.

Dr. Fisher grew up locally in Clearwater, FL in a family of physicians, and graduated from Vanderbilt University with a double major in chemistry and art history. He then attended the University of South Florida for medical school. It was there that he developed a passion for urology and the treatment of its associated issues from mentors such as Dr. Philippe Spiess and Dr. Rafael Carrion.

Afterward, he completed a surgical internship and residency in urologic surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN under the guidance of Dr. Bedford Waters and Dr. Wesley White. During his residency, he was trained in minimally invasive techniques such as robotic, laparoscopic, open, endoscopic, and microscopic surgery from fellowship trained urologists. He went on to complete a fellowship specializing in men’s reproductive medicine and surgery from a pioneer and leader in the field, Dr. Larry Lipshultz, at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. While in fellowship, he helped numerous couples accomplish their goals of a pregnancy despite their challenges. In addition, he reviewed countless articles on the topics of men’s health, sexual dysfunction, and infertility from leading experts in the field prior to publication.

Dr. Fisher has participated in numerous research studies, including national meeting presentations, journal article submissions, and peer reviews.

In his clinical practice, he treats patients for conditions like prostate issues, low testosterone, kidney stones, overactive bladder, incontinence, and ED/sexual dysfunction. In addition, Dr. Fisher specializes in fertility issues including vasectomy and vasectomy reversal. He also has special interests in minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery for benign and cancerous tumors.

Dr. Fisher is a well-published researcher, has trained with some of the best surgeons in the field of men’s sexual health, and is active in advancing his specialty in the field of urology. He hopes to empower his patients and provide a sense of ease as he provides your urologic care.

Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Fisher enjoys golf, travel, exercise, and spending time with his family.
