Technical quality issues can still create major performance, safety and cost risks in PV projects, even when components meet standard certification requirements.
Building on the findings presented at last year’s pv magazine Week Europe, this session will focus on what experts have learned over the past 12 months about unresolved and emerging failure modes – from glass breakage and junction-box issues to potentially hazardous defects in half-cell modules.
Experts will discuss where improved diagnostics such as thermography can mitigate risks, where project owners need better prevention and quality-control strategies, and where manufacturers are still searching for technically robust and economically viable solutions.
