Mark Dale
CTO, Comtech
Dr Mark Dale was named CTO of Comtech’s Satellite & Space Communications Segment in July 2025. Previously, Dr Dale served as Senior Technical Fellow leading the engineering group of the Comtech Satellite Network Technologies division, and as Vice President of US Business Development. In all of his roles, he has helped define next generation satellite communications solutions in support of US Government and commercial customers.
Dr. Dale has worked in the satellite industry for over 30 years, with responsibilities that have spanned systems engineering, product management, and business development. In addition to working for Comtech, he has worked at Viasat, Broadcom, and Kratos. He holds a MSEE from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California
