From the earliest stages, designing a solar project requires accurate comparisons of different approaches, taking in the energy yield potential alongside the impact of various project parameters.
And these decisions need to be made rapidly, with no time for detailed analysis of every single possibility. In this webinar, we’ll discuss the challenges design teams face when making decisions on a compressed timeline, and take a look at PVcase’s ‘QuickYield’ approach, which allows designers to quickly compare various scenarios for factors like spacing, inclination, shading angle, modules, DC/AC ratio, and isolate those with the highest potential for further analysis.
Héctor Lucas Forasté, Product Marketing Engineer at PVcase will take us through QuickYield and how it fits in with PVCase’s design software and provides yield calculations that would normally take several hours in just a few minutes.
Conrado Lamas, Head of Marketing and Communications at PVcase will also join to share a case study examining how German project developer UKA has implemented PVcase software across its engineering team, with input from other project development colleagues.
Webinar content:
• Solar design scenarios and energy yield calculation
• Comparing multiple project variants before committing to deeper simulations
• How large renewable energy developers structure PVcase workflows across teams and licenses.
