About
According to the Project Management Institute (PMI), the term" Project": refers to ”any temporary endeavor with a definite beginning and end”. Depending on its complexity, it can be managed by a single person or hundreds.

You are probably familiar with many project management tools (PRINCE2; MS Project; ProofHub) that are very useful for large-scale projects like constructing a national highway system, developing a new drug or aerospace/defense product, building and commissioning a power station, or sending a rover to Mars.

But they could be overkill for everyday small-scale projects on your agenda.

We love the definition from productivity guru David Allen, "A project is anything that takes more than one step to complete."

Having a successful birthday party. Or a holiday. Or to achieve an academic qualification. Or becoming a competent speaker. Or your department's team-building weekend. Or designing a new course. Or buy a new house or car. Or to change your career. Or to fill a vacancy.

These are all projects that require you to think about it, plan, communicate, track and complete it.

You could easily have 20-80 projects on the go at any given time.

How do you currently stay on top of it all?

That's what this webinar is about.

We will demonstrate how you can use MS Outlook, MS OneNote, and the mind mapping software XMind to successfully manage your small-scale projects. Or call them mini-projects or micro-projects. Call them whatever you wish, they all meet the PMI definition of a project.

Join us for 45 minutes, plus ample time for Q&A.

Leave this webinar with tips, tricks, and techniques to use the tools you already have if you have an Office 365 account, and you can get XMind for free.
