    Have rich experiences in multiple industries spanning nearly 20 years. Experiences have been mainly in the area of operations, grew from being a shop floor engineer at BHEL in the year 1977 to that of Head of Technical Services Division at Hindustan Packaging Company Limited (Tetra Pak) in 2000. Some notable company stints include the TI Group Chennai and Hindustan Lever Limited Moved to academics in 2002 and was faculty member at the ICFAI business school till 2005. Teaching Operations Management, Business Strategy and Quantitative Methods. Was voted the best faculty member by the students in 2005 Joined Indian School of Business (ISB) in 2005 as Assistant Director Admissions and Financial Aid.
    Was primarily responsible for doubling the number of applications and the class size within the first year of joining. Moved to the position of Associate Director Learning and Development at ISB in 2007, developed the learning and interventional modules to prepare the students for formal recruitment interviews Moved back to the Admissions and Financial Aid function in 2009. Oversaw the class size going to 570 at the Hyderabad campus and also the introduction of the Mohali campus. Was responsible for the seamless integration of the admissions process of the two campuses. In addition to the role as Admissions Director, continued to perform the role in the area of Learning and Development. Retired from ISB in 2014 and since then have been actively involved in guiding prospective students to ISB and other top Business Schools in India and Abroad. I have taken up painting as a hobby and have a number of canvases of landscape and still-life to my credit.

    Prof. Karnak Roy
    Assistant Prof at ASCI
    Mr. Karnak Roy is an Assistant Professor at Administrative Staff College of India.
    He has been working with the Administrative Staff College of India since July 2014, first as a Project Consultant till January 2017, next as a Junior Research Fellow till January, 2018 and again as a project consultant till May, 2019. In June, 2019 he joined ASCI as an Assistant Professor. Prior to joining ASCI, he worked as an Assistant Professor of MBA in Seacom Engineering and Management College, Calcutta. He also worked in IBM as an Application Developer prior to joining Seacom.
    At ASCI, he has worked on important science policy and evaluation studies sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Steel, Department of Posts, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and many. Findings of one recent study where he actively took part as a consultant have been used in formulation
    of draft “Scientific Research Infrastructure Sharing Maintenance and Network (SRIMAN) Policy”.
