Dr. Saubhagya R. Mahapatra is currently working at the Department of Petroleum Engineering, UIE, CU and also holding the prestigious position of Head of the Department. He holds a PhD in Geochemistry from University of Madras and qualified prestigious UGC-CSIR NET examination (AIR - 33). His research interests include Sedimentology, Petroleum Exploration, Unconventional Energy, Remote Sensing and GIS. He has more than eight years of experience in research and teaching.
