Venus Corbin-May (Director of Cultural Education). Ms. Corbin-May has over 15 years of experience in the educational field in multicultural communities. She provides a multilevel capability in educational programs, delivery and education administrative services. Ms. Corbin-May also worked in the nonprofit sector supporting the organizing of Atlanta Consortium of Administrators, Educators and School as the Board Secretary as well as in leadership capacities with varied public, private and charter schools. She is currently the team lead and reading teacher at Georgia’s first all-boys charter school: Fulton Leadership Academy. Ms. Corbin’s contributions to Power by Action include a strong background in education, learning technology, leadership and a general passion for helping and edifying people. Ms. Corbin-May received an Advanced Degree in Educational Leadership, her Master of Arts in Learning Technology, and her Bachelor of Science in Special, Middle, and Elementary Education.
