Joel Dixon is the Director of Cultural Relationship Management for the Powered by Action Office of Cultural Relations. Mr. Dixon has an extensive background as Solutions Consultant, Business Development and Account Manager with over 10 years experience in consultative sales and management working within High Technology, Telecommunications, Commodities and Home Improvement industries. He developed global experience through extensive travel abroad to Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, Europe and South America for work, study and independently. Over the last several years, he has also served as Founding Board Member and Chair for Educate Haiti Now Inc., a non-profit focused on primary school education in Haiti. Joel’s contribution to Powered by Action will include utilizing his expertise in the areas of interpersonal communications, cross-functional teamwork, customer relationship management, conflict resolution, cross-cultural relations, public speaking, venture start-up, business development and for-profit/non-profit leadership.
