Treye has over 12 years of media experience, working as a writer, editor, and content strategist at outlets like OK! Magazine, BuzzFeed, the New York Post, and HuffPost. Along with his media work, Treye enjoys covering topics like travel, style, and music on his lifestyle blog Treyematic.

Treye founded the Black In Media community and newsletter as a means to empower and uplift Black media professionals. Black In Media is dedicated to amplifying the stories of Black people working in the media industry and highlighting the content these creatives are creating each day to celebrate the beauty of the Black experience. Black In Media also hosts workshops, panels, networking events, and other educational programming designed to equip and encourage the next generation of media changemakers.
