Greetings to all.
I am a retired classroom teacher, elementary school principal and gifted intervention specialist. Currently, I live with my husband, Roger, and our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Bentley in Hudson, Ohio. We are first time grandparents and loving time with our family!
Still wearing several professional hats after retirement, I started my own educational consulting business, Entrusted Teacher Consulting, so I could continue to share my passion and ideas about gifted education with others. It has been very rewarding to spend time with schools, administrators and teachers to improve gifted services and practices. Creating materials for gifted ed. is also a part of my loves. I am also very fortunate to work with Cleveland State University as an instructor in the gifted program and, while Dr. Susan Rakow is on sabbatical this year, as the Interim Coordinator, Gifted Programming. I already recognize several names in the community from OAGC, workshops or former students at CSU.
In my "play" time, I love my hobbies - decorative painting, scrapbooking and cardmaking, sewing and design - along with swimming, movies, puzzles and time with friends and family. I cannot deny that I am a Words with Friends and Pinterest lover, too!
