This webinar is based on the session recently presented at the National VET Conference in Adelaide.

How do you know if a training product is a quality representation of what it is supposed to be? Often, when it comes to training and assessment materials, an RTO has two choices: purchase off-the-shelf or develop in-house. Neither option gives a sure-fire guarantee to quality, let alone compliance - for a number of reasons. And yet, Quality Materials are one of the cornerstones to skilling future workers, and shaping the future of VET.

This webinar will help RTOs operating under either scenario develop a system to ascertain the capacity of available training products to meet business requirements, including learner needs.

Issues such as instructional design elements and compliance requirements will be explored and balanced against underpinning learning theory for end-users. This session presents an opportunity to consider how common-sense approaches can be implemented and/or fine-tuned in your RTO, so that Quality Materials are available and used every day, for every student. It will also explain how to determine whether a training product is a 'quality' one.
