Retirement Advisor Channel Manager
Dan is the Retirement Advisor Channel Manager for Paychex Retirement Services. He has been in the investment industry for 35 years, with the last 25 years spent in the retirement plan industry in sales, wholesaling, sales leadership, relationship management, and training.
Dan joined Paychex in 2012 as one of the first external retirement wholesalers for the newly created Financial Advisor wholesaling team, focusing on growing Paychex’s business with Financial Advisors. In his current role, he is responsible for relationship management and sales for all broker-dealer, RIA and investment partners that work with Paychex.
Prior to Paychex, Dan was in the retirement plan business with ADP Retirement Services. There he sold 401(k) plans, was in sales leadership, and then became the primary developer and first leader of the Retirement Services Sales Training program. Prior to his time with ADP, he was a financial advisor for 10 years.
Dan earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Connecticut.

I started at Paychex in 2006 working in accounts receivable. I have worked in retirement services for 11 years, 2 on that sales & advisor support desk, 3 on the advisor desk, 3 as an elite partner support representative to advisors with a large book of business, 3 as an internal wholesaler. I have my series 6 and 63 and just this summer an Accredited Retirement Plan Consultant.
Retirement Plan Sales
Bill Maier is Internal Retirement Plan Wholesaler at Paychex. He has been with Paychex for 13 years and been an Internal Retirement Plan Wholesaler for the past 2 years. Ellie Pandina is Internal Retirement Plan Wholesaler Manager for Paychex Retirement Services. She has been in the retirement plan industry for 13 years, with the last 4.5 years in wholesaling, relationship management and sales leadership.
Ellie joined Paychex in 2006, is cross trained in several HR products and has had experience in retirement plan implementation, relationship management, training, wholesaling and sales leadership. In her current role she manages a team of Internal Retirement Plan Wholesalers responsible for driving 401(k) plan sales through new and existing relationships with Financial Advisors, preparing presentation material for field sales, and ensuring needs for pre-sale support, and external partner demonstrations are met with assigned span of control. Her team also partners with and supports Retirement Plan Sales, Retirement Services, and Financial Advisor Support partners to meet and exceed revenue goals and attainment of company objectives.
