In 2022, as a response to member company input that reflected an increasing interest in robusta, WCR initiated a study of the potential for breeding to support the industry’s robusta needs, led by expert breeding design consultants AbacusBio.
AbacusBio’s holistic analysis of the opportunities and challenges facing robusta, including the outlook for future supplies, is now complete. WCR will soon release a report summarizing the findings for WCR member companies.
Join us for a member-exclusive webinar about the survey results and our plans moving forward for robusta, featuring a conversation between WCR’s Director of Research & Development, Dr. Tania Humphrey and AbacusBio Consultant Tom Kirk. The event will include a presentation, discussion, and Q&A portion.
