He published a book about travel and entrepreneurship with his business partner and friend Cyriac Lefort. During the years of 2017 and 2019, I was fortunate enough to be able to travel the country in between my time at Yelp and Uber Eats. During both these travel and work experiences, I was able to work with smb restaurant owners and speak with some amazing people that were in the market for new opportunities. Career Strategist, Leader, Influencer, Speaker and Founder of Black Career Women's Network, Sherry Sims decided after working 12 years in the Human Resources Industry as a Corporate Recruiter and HR Generalist for corporations such as CVS Pharmacy, AT&T, and Time Warner, she desired to utilize her experience in a different way and made the transition to becoming a Career Coach, discovering a new passion for helping people strive for career success, specifically black women. Sherry wants every Black Career Woman to be empowered to work in her highest potential, have equal consideration for professional growth and opportunities, and be equipped to handle the dynamics of the workplace, and experience freedom and fulfillment at work.

For 20 years, Jenn had the pleasure of leading employment branding, recruitment marketing, and employment technology strategies for AT&T globally. She now has the opportunity to use her background to help other companies improve experience experience (internal & external), exploit technology, while streamline processes to increase quality and improve the bottom line.

John leads the development and implementation of KFC’s equity and inclusion vision and strategy to help position the brand as an industry leader across the U.S.

In his 20 years of restaurant industry experience, John has served in various roles including Operations, Training, Product Development, and Project Management. Mays is heavily involved in the local Louisville non-profit world, specifically within the Black community, serving as vice president of Master Builders Academy.
