Now that WebRTC 1.0 is a recommended standard, what comes next for WebRTC? Is it complete? Is it obsolete? W3C WebRTC Chair Bernard Aboba will join us to discuss what comes next, and why it is neither complete nor obsolete.
Whereas in our last episode of WebRTC Live, Arin and Tsahi Levent-Levi discussed application trends and what use cases we see more commonly, in this episode Bernard will go into more of the spec details with us and what might be coming down the pipe in WebRTC NV - the Next Version. Bernard recently discussed this on WebRTCHacks with Chad Hart, and so this is a good opportunity to ask him follow up questions from that article!
Bernard Aboba is a Principal Architect at Microsoft. He is the Co-Chair of the W3C WebRTC Working Group, and an editor of the WebRTC and ORTC specifications. He is author of 60+ IETF RFCs, and previously served as Chair of the Internet Architecture Board.
