GREENFLEET365 embraced World Environment Day and held Day 3 of the AMP ULEV eRoadshow on Friday 05 June.

We took a peek in to the future, looking at Smart Cities & Smart Mobility, in the race for Net-Zero, with an event called ‘Future Mobility: Creating a Nation of Smart Cities’.

Session 1: The Smart City Strategy – Connected Places Catapult took a look at what is required in a Smart City strategy, followed by a focus on Smart Mobility with Delta-EE. C40 Cities completed the line-up with a look at Electrification and the Switch to Zero Emissions.

Session 2: Connectivity, Hydrogen and Autonomy: Innovative Mobility - CENEX provided us with an insight into the Technology Roadmaps followed by an in-depth analysis of Toyota GB's Hydrogen fuel cell technology. The session was wrapped up with the Midlands Future Mobility project, from Coventry University.

Session 3: Innovative Technology for Smart Cities – The eROADSHOW closed with a focus on some of the solutions available to drive connectivity and create a Smart City. Innovate UK provided insight into 'Connectivity', with a round-up of funded projects, painting a picture of how the UK will look in the future. The session finished with an overview of Smart Technology, in terms of infrastructure and charging, thanks to ubitricity.
