Katie Baker is a Vice President of Credit Suisse in the Human Resources function, based in London. She is responsible for Diversity Recruitment and Internal Mobility across the EMEA region.

Katie joined Credit Suisse in November 2012 from previously working as a secondary school English teacher as part of the Teach First program. Prior to that, she worked at a number of recruitment firms.
Katie holds a degree in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh.

Senior Data Engineer within Global Markets technology, Vice President
Audrey Bampoe is a Senior Data Engineer within Global Markets technology. Audrey joined Credit Suisse in 2000, as part of the Cash Securities Operations team. Audrey has made use of the firm’s internal mobility initiative and has held a number of roles within Credit Suisse, from a SME for operations changes to a project manager and lead business analyst within the Strategic Change organization. Until 2015, following her successful completion of her BSc (Honours) in Computing and Information Technology degree, she moved into technology supporting Client Reference Data business processes. Audrey now works within Risk Technology designing and driving solutions to ensure compliance with Market Risk regulatory requirements such as FRTB.

Audrey is an advocate for parity, she volunteers as a Modern Muse – a program which aims to provide role models for young girls and provide support for future career decisions.
In 2019, she was voted by WeAreTechWomen as one of Top 100 Women in Technology, as part of her support for increasing awareness of the importance of parity within technology.
Audrey recently became the co-chair for the Credit Suisse European Women’s Network, a Diversity and Inclusion initiate aimed to support women to achieve parity.
Audrey is a trustee and a local committee chair for a charity based in the London Borough of Newham. Fight for Peace combines boxing and martial arts with education and personal development to realize the potential of young people in communities affected by crime, violence and social exclusion
Audrey is also an active member of the Christian Faith Network.

Group Chief Information Officer, Managing Director
Laura Barrowman is the Group Chief Information Officer at Credit Suisse, focusing on setting the direction for all of IT and ensuring the integrity of production environments within the bank’s control framework. She currently oversees over 12,000 employees globally.
During her 25-year tenure at Credit Suisse, Laura has held many leadership positions in the various IT organizations. Most recently, she served as the Chief Technology Officer responsible for the firm’s technology infrastructure, while previously acting as Chief Information Officer for Technology Services. Also during her tenure at Credit Suisse, she led the Production and Shared Testing Services Group, and was formerly the Head of Information Technology for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Laura joined Credit Suisse First Boston in September 1994. Throughout her career, Laura has passionately championed and empowered females through leading women’s groups, such as the IT Women’s Champions. She is also very committed to the advancement and globalization of STEM programs – and the overall proliferation of elevated educational opportunities for children. Laura sits on the Board of Teach For All.

Other accolades of note include serving as the co-chair of the WEF Global Future Council for Cybersecurity (2019); named to Financial News’ list of 100 Most Influential Women in Finance (2017, 2018, 2019); Credit Suisse Aeppli Winner (2018); and named to the Financial Times’ HERoes list of Champions of Women in Business (2018).

David Jones is Head of DevOps and Development Practices at Credit Suisse, based in London. This remit covers a number of strategic themes across technology including DevOps, Open Source, Sustainable Technology and Developer Tools and Services.

David’s group of technologists delivers solutions and services to the organization covering approximately 35,000 users, including support of the organization’s software delivery pipeline for more than 12,000 applications. The team aims to reduce any friction within software development and delivery.
David joined the bank in 2015 and has been working in the banking industry for over 20 years following a successful military career.

Over the years, David has spent the majority of his time as a software developer, creating systems across most areas of the business with a particular focus on analytics and research. In recent years David has taken his software development experience and moved towards implementing new approaches, tools and practices, covering all areas across the code and development themes.

David studied Aeronautical Engineering at Princess Marina College in Arborfield.

Maria (Masha) Netchaeva is an apprentice Software Developer at Credit Suisse.

Masha entered the apprenticeship program in November 2019, first completing a three months intensive course with the training provider Makers, and then joining the Equity Derivatives IT Trade Lifecycle Services within Global Markets Technology in March 2020.

Masha has had no previous coding experience. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, she worked as a freelancer in business journalism, translation, academic publishing and higher education since 2002.

Masha obtained her first degree in Languages and Literature from the Urals State University, Russia. She also holds an MSc in Management from the University of Bath.
