WEBINAR ENDED
This session covers local anaesthesia in veterinary dentistry from technique through to pharmacology. Landmarks, approach and safety are covered for the caudal mandibular, caudal maxillary and mental/infraorbital blocks, with a dedicated focus on avoiding orbital penetration – followed by agent selection, dosing, toxicity thresholds, species differences between dogs and cats, and adjuncts to extend block duration. Delegates leave equipped to plan safe, effective full-mouth analgesia.
