At the beginning of 2022, the idea of Rate My Clinic was formed. One of the key drivers was the lack of useful data on the performance of Australian allied health clinics. I had been looking for years but couldn’t find the data anywhere. Using my extensive corporate background and experience as an owner of a Physio clinic, I created a method of assessing clinics using key business metrics in combination with client and team feedback.

At the start of 2023, we invited 17 clinics to be part of the Rate My Clinic Foundation Group to test this method of assessment and form the database to measure other clinics against. The feedback from this group was invaluable. Some of what they said was:
