Thanks to everyone who was able to attend the Fireside Chat. If you missed it or want to revisit anything that was covered, you can watch the recording to learn all about the upcoming changes that will enhance the airport experience for you and your guests.

Here’s a quick recap of what was shared.

Improving the airport experience for everyone
Airport trips are a big earning opportunity for Turo hosts, but improvements are needed to accelerate airport bookings and tap into their full potential. Upcoming changes will ensure that airport deliveries are simple and consistent for everyone, and that pricing is attractive to first-time and returning guests.

Add parking details for more predictable pickups
You’ll soon be required to add a pickup location for deliveries at permitted airports. This feature will create a consistent guest experience across all permitted airports, while saving you time on trip coordination. You can add a pickup location for any upcoming airport trips to get familiar with this feature and prepare for the change.

After the requirement is in place, hosts who do not add a pickup location may be subject to penalties and risk not being able to deliver to the airport.

Lower maximum delivery fees will better match guest demand
The maximum delivery fee at the top 20 airports in the US will be lowered from $120 over the coming months to make airport pricing more attractive and competitive with other rental alternatives. The new maximum delivery fee will be unique to each airport, based on local supply and demand.
