Accreditation managers perform two primary tasks for their agency. First, they research and write directives that must comply with their accrediting body’s standards, and secondly, they must prove their agency is complying with both the directives and the standards.
This class focuses on understanding what is required by a standard.
Upon completion of this class, students will be able to:
• Understand and explain what compliance language is
• Identify critical keywords
• Explain what a standard requires
• Explain the purpose behind a clarification statement
• Understand basic accreditation policy terminology
This class is open to accreditation managers of any accreditation program. However, students will gain experience by breaking down and analyzing standards from New Jersey, CALEA, Pennsylvania, and Florida.
