Meredith Amdur is an executive, investor, advisor, and entrepreneur in a range of digital media and data-driven enterprise and consumer software application businesses. She is currently CEO of Rhetorik Solutions, a UK-based technology sales & marketing intelligence platform, and previously served as President/CEO of WANTED Technologies, an online provider of big data recruiting analytics platform, tools, and embedded data solutions to the HR sector, before selling the publicly traded company to the Corporate Executive Board (CEB)/now Gartner Group, in late 2015.

Before that, Amdur held senior leadership and strategy roles at DIRECTV, Microsoft, Deloitte Consulting, and Informa (UK), where her accomplishments included heading the strategic planning for Microsoft’s Entertainment & Devices Division (Xbox), serving as the General Manager of Strategy for the Bing search engine and MSN, leading DirecTV digital product strategy (DIRECTVNow) and spearheading new initiatives in big data analytics and advanced geospatial visualization tools for Microsoft’s cloud platform. Amdur forged her early career in London, England in the mid-1990s, co-founding and running a tech business-information publishing and global telecoms/media market research company (Baskerville Communications, later sold to Informa plc).

Amdur holds an MBA from Cornell University (2003), an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
