Prior to Airwallex, Nicole spent ten years at Citibank in New York and Singapore, working in corporate treasury and commercial issuing. Nicole has a Masters in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University. She lives in San Diego with her husband and two children, is a published novelist, and enjoys reading in her free time.

She has served as a board member and co-chairman of the Merchant Risk Council and the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance, collaborating with merchants, payment networks, and law enforcement to combat organized fraud and emerging threats.
