Dieter is responsible for the Methods of Payment and Fraud Prevention strategy for the Despegar Group, his main responsibilities are to increase the conversion of payments, increase the offer of payments, reduce false positives due to suspected fraud and maintain fraud losses with in order to provide a positive customer experience and maximize sales conversion. He was recently appointed Head of Payments and Fraud at Koin, the group's recently acquired payment and lending fintech.
