Joseph Chen is the Consumer Insights Lead, Wellbeing and Sustainability USA at Mondelēz International. Prior to joining Mondelez, Joseph spent his entire career on the client-side, aside from 2 years as the VP of Global Strategic Accounts at Zappi Store.

Joseph was the Consumer Insights Lead at McDonald’s and led a team of talented consumer insight professionals there. He also led consumer insights and digital insights for Hershey across sweet brands like Hershey Kisses, Reese, Brookside, Pot of Gold, Chipits, Skor, and Oh Henry.

Prior to that he worked on exciting Unilever brands such as Becel, Hellmann’s, Knorr, Breyers, Ben & Jerry’s, Magnum, Dove, Axe, Vaseline, TREsemme, Nexxus, and St. Ives.

Joseph is a regular contributor to academic as well as industry publications and conferences including IIEX and ESOMAR. He was the Chair of client-side Researcher Council at MRIA for 5 years.

He has delivered several conference presentations and research papers for several client-side brands across McDonalds, Hershey, Unilever, and Kraft.

Fran Guzman is a food & beverage marketer with 10+ years of experience driving innovation, brand & category management, and corporate strategy initiatives. He leads the insights & strategy team for a $3B+ healthy snacks and beverages portfolio at KraftHeinz. Prior to that, he held similar roles at Keurig Dr Pepper and Sonic Drive-in and spent three years in consulting.

Fran has an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at UT Austin and his BA from UC Berkeley.
