Welcome to Day One of our 40-hour Domestic & Sexual Violence Certification course! Because this is our very first session together, the day will run a little different compared to the rest of our days. We will be starting our day on Zoom to introduce ourselves, moving to Big Marker to begin our day, and ending on Zoom to process what we've learned.
It is recommended that you save a list of links alongside your schedule to reference throughout the training so that you are able to navigate to the right places easily throughout the course of our time together. If you are ever unable to find the correct link, please reach out to us via email. Please copy kowens@centerforfamilyjustice.org and aposila@centerforfamilyjustice on that email.

The Center for Family Justice (CFJ) provides free and confidential trauma-informed services and coordinates care for all victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, and child abuse in six towns in Fairfield County, Connecticut: Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford, and Trumbull.
CFJ provides expert prevention education and training in our communities to create social change. Our goal is to break the cycle of violence by building healthy relationships, empowering communities, and mobilizing bystanders to speak out about abuse and violence.
