Guest Speaker: Lance Allcock, Director at L.A. Solutions (Training) LTD.

Have you wondered about becoming a lorry driver, but are unsure of how to go about it?

In this webinar we will guide you through how to gain your qualification, and how you go about becoming a self-employed lorry driver. This will be based on using your own vehicle and not contracting to another firm, where you are self-employed and driving their vehicles.

During this webinar, we will also be discussing:

• How to get your licence
• Vehicle costs and the ways to purchase vehicles to become a self-contained business
• How to stay in good repute with the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA)
• Tachographs and maintenance schedules
• ‘O’ Licence and the need for transport managers
• Where you can park your vehicle.

A Q&A will take place at the end for any questions you may have on becoming a lorry driver.
