She is Director of the Institute of Education at St Mary's University which trains about a 1000 new teachers each year, including modern language enthusiasts. Anna Lise's research interests focus on the resilience and wellbeing of teachers, including factors which enable thriving in the profession for modern language teachers. Anna Lise is a former President of the Association of Language Learning.

Speaking in and out of the Covid classroom through a blended learning approach
Joe Dale is an independent languages consultant from the UK who works with a range of organisations such as Network for Languages, ALL, The British Council, the BBC, Skype, Microsoft and The Guardian. He was host of the TES MFL forum for six years, former SSAT Languages Lead Practitioner, a regular conference speaker and recognised expert on technology and language learning. He has spoken at conferences and run training courses in Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East, the Far East and Australasia. He was a member of the Ministerial Steering Group on languages for the UK coalition government and advised on the Linguanet Worldwide project for The Language Company. He created ICT activities for the new Institut Français, ALL and Network for Languages Primary French Project Niveau Bleu, Blanc and Rouge courses and was short-listed for a NAACE Impact Award in 2013 too. Joe supported the Erasmus Plus project Conflict to Cooperation with 5 European countries and is currently involved in the Supporting Schools Reform in Algeria project through the British Council. He was recently described in a Guardian article as an 'MFL guru' and 'the man behind the #mfltwitterati.'.

Lizzy's purpose is to ensure educators and learners achieve well-being and overcome barriers to learning through coaching, consultancy and training. Her work is based on 18 years of teaching, senior leadership, and Headship and is embedded within the principles of positive psychology. Lizzy is a passionate advocate of flexible working and inclusion, fuelled by her own experience as a 'sandwich' carer. A committed life-long learner who would spend a lottery win on studying not shoes, you'll find Lizzy wandering the Suffolk coast at the weekends with her children and new puppy, Cosmo.

Lucy is the National Coordinator for the MFL Student Mentoring Project, based at Cardiff University, and has recently taken on the role of Project Manager for Language Horizons, a DfE funded digital mentoring project for languages which is drawing to a close. In the last 18 months Lucy has also acted as a research assistant on an AHRC Open World Research Initiative project. Lucy is developing her expertise in pedagogical approaches to language learning both at a research and practical level. Currently working with particular interest on the interface between mentoring, learner motivation and online technology, Lucy has been instrumental in developing Language Horizons, and is looking to advance her work on engagement factors impacting upon uptake of MFLs as well as pedagogical approaches to teaching languages. Lucy has published on the work of the MFL Student Mentoring in a variety of forums.
