Reading the Trust Instrument

In this course we will review a sample revocable trust and a sample irrevocable trust. We will read through the trusts the way a lawyer or judge would read them, and we will find the clauses that have income tax consequences. We will talk about where to look in the trust to find tax clauses, and common problems with tax provisions.

2) Learn some fundamental rules for reading trusts
3) Spot tax clauses
