Michael Loox

Senior Manager of Store Security

Michael Loox is a Senior Manager of Store Security for Sheet supporting the Security Operations Center (SOC) and the Loss Investigations Team (LIT) focusing on store security, safety and loss control. Michael has served in the loss prevention and security industry in various leadership roles for over 25 years. He has led the AP and security functions for The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Prada, Z Gallerie, BLD Brands, Gucci, Victoria’s Secret and Chipotle.

Amber Goden

Asset Protection Analyst, RaceTrac

Amber Goden has been in the role of Asset Protection Analyst with RaceTrac, Inc. for one year. RaceTrac, a family-owned company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, has been serving its guests since 1934. With over 10,000 team members spread across two operating divisions (RaceTrac, featuring 580 corporate stores in 10 states, and RaceWay, with 230 franchise locations in 11 states) and affiliated companies (Metroplex Energy, Gulf Oil and Energy Dispatch). As part of the Asset Protection team, Amber assists in building partnerships with law enforcement, manages vendor relationships, and supports internal and external theft investigations. Prior to RaceTrac, Amber worked as a criminal intelligence analyst and specialized in retail crime, gang activity, fraudulent schemes, and human trafficking.

Jeff Roberts

Captain/Internal Operations, Texas Financial Crimes Intelligence Center

Detective Jeff Roberts is a Captain at the Texas Financial Crimes Intelligence Center and for nearly 20 years Detective Roberts has been taking down suspects in credit card skimming and other financial crimes against convenience stores and other retailers. He also teaches other departments across the country on how to combat and investigate these types of crimes.

Jamie Ashurst

Security Ops. Manager, Sheetz

Jamie is currently the Security Operations Manager at Sheetz with over 20 years of experience within the physical security, risk management, and LP field. Jamie holds a BS in Business Administration and has previous held positions in the fields of juvenile justice and juvenile mental health. Jamie’s career started in the Security Operations Center at Sheetz in 2004 and he leads a team of 30 security professionals overseeing all aspects of store and corporate physical security, including video management, alarm management and responses, design and implementation of system monitoring software and access control. Additional responsibilities include risk management, audio deterrence capabilities, and incident processing to ensure the safety and security of Sheetz customers and staff.

Amber Bradley

Owner & Host, TalkLP

Amber Bradley, founder of Calibration Group, LLC, is a communication expert with extensive experience across multiple business disciplines, including marketing and public relations. Amber’s proven success in creating multi-tiered, strategic marketing and communication campaigns continues to yield unmatched results for solutions providers, as well as retail loss prevention and operations professionals.

Amber is the owner and host of TalkLP that provides valuable content to loss prevention and asset protection professionals through unscripted interviews about all different types of topics.

Amber also serves as Executive Director for the Restaurant Loss Prevention and Security Association (RLPSA), and is a contributing editor for the D&D Daily, a daily e-news outlet specializing in providing the most relevant news for retail loss prevention, safety, and security professionals.
