About
In partnership with Johnson County Mental Health, this 90-minute workshop helps parents create a family screen plan based on expert-guided content about digital health. This includes a road-map for introducing your kids to a smartphone and social media—no matter what age or stage your kid is at in the process. The content is designed for adults only, but will give you practical ways you can talk to your kids about this topic. Johnson County Mental Health Director Tim DeWeese and a representative from #Zero Reasons Why and the Screen Time Clinic will also be available for questions. First 20 in-person registrants will receive a handbook with take home tips and ideas to help you raise happy, healthy kids in the digital world. If you are unable to attend live, the session will be recorded and sent to registered participants to view at their convenience.
