    Amanda Ellen
    Project Associate, How2Recycle, Greenblue
Prior to joining How2Recycle as the Project Associate, Amanda worked for The Watershed Institute where she taught about the natural environment, but focused on innovative sustainability features that the nature center featured. Her interest in sustainable practices was first sparked in college when living in a LEED certified building and taking classes revolving around the environment. This led to her initiating an assistant position for the Head of Sustainability where she helped to implement a variety of new sustainability initiatives campus-wide. Amanda received her B.A. in Environmental Studies from Salisbury University, but also had focuses in Biology and Art. When she’s not trying to save the world, you can find Amanda spending time with her rescue pup, hiking, working out, and playing sports. She also enjoys creating different types of art and recently started to paint pet portraits.
