Rhonda Helmreich
Sonlight Mentor
Rhonda Helmreich currently teaches high school literature and writing at TNPC, a Home School Cooperative which she co-founded in 1999. Her teaching career began in public schools, where she received awards for innovative literature-based instructional methods. When the time came to homeschool her own five children, she aimed to raise passionate followers of Christ with critical thinking skills and a heart for reaching the world. Sonlight, with its focus on great literature, became her curriculum of choice. Her home-school nest now empty, Rhonda enjoys sharing her teaching insights with others.
Lisa Fountain
Sonlight Mentor
Lisa is the mom of three wonderful children, two of whom are married. Her youngest will be a Senior in the fall. Lisa’s oldest went to public school from the beginning and she homeschooled the younger two with Sonlight. Lisa has used every level from B-400. When she is not homeschooling she enjoys running, going to the beach, reading and sewing.
Tender TenBrink

Tender TenBrink is a mother of 4 amazing humans! She has had the privilege of homeschooling them over the past 12 years. She has 2 sons and 2 daughters. Her favorite time of the day is when she can sit with them around in the living room and read good books together. Before motherhood she was a computer consultant that traveled and worked on software projects for Manufacturing and Distribution companies. Tender is a graduate of homeschooling as well. She was homeschooled back in the dark ages.
Sunny Raybern
Community Manager
Sunny has loved books as long as she can remember. Her own parents discovered Sonlight at a convention and knew the literature and history focus would be perfect for her. She never planned to homeschool her own children past pre-k, but when her daughter learned to read, she was hooked. She has educated both of her children entirely with Sonlight. In her spare time, Sunny enjoys reading (of course), musicals, hiking, and being in or near water.
