Johna Lawrence
Homeschool Veteran & Mentor
Wife, Mom, Marmee, Homeschool Administrator and in my spare Mission Board Treasurer. After 23 years of teaching my children, being involved in Homeschool Co-Ops as teacher and in leadership. I have found my biggest passion outside of my family is helping families find the joy of homeschooling, to approach it without fear, and to love the moments as they present themselves. I have used Sonlight since our first curriculum purchase in 1999, with four different learning styles with four children it has been the perfect fit for our family. Best verse for my approach for life, comes from 2 Timothy 1:7.
“ for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
Ann Kuebler
Mentor and Homeschool Mom
Ann Kuebler is a homeschool mother of two and has used Sonlight curriculum for 13 years, since her children were in preschool. A former high school biology teacher, Ann enjoys teaching science labs in their local homeschool co-op where she also serves on the leadership team. Enjoying the flexible schedule that homeschooling provides, Ann has enjoyed serving as a volunteer in several capacities in her community, including serving as regent in her DAR chapter, being a docent at a local state historic site, and volunteering as communication coordinator for her homeschool athletics association.
Sunny Raybern
Community Manager
Sunny has loved books as long as she can remember. Her own parents discovered Sonlight at a convention and knew the literature and history focus would be perfect for her. She never planned to homeschool her own children past pre-k, but when her daughter learned to read, she was hooked. She has educated both of her children entirely with Sonlight. In her spare time, Sunny enjoys reading (of course), musicals, hiking, and being in or near water.
