Judy Wnuk is a retired homeschool teacher of three amazing students. She has spent 20+ years using literature-based learning with her own children and sharing it with families across the US and Canada through her work with Sonlight. She has a passion for encouraging parents, young and old, as they navigate the journey of raising their children. She and her husband of 36 years have enjoyed the privilege of facilitating marriage and parenting classes, and she likes nothing better than to mentor moms that God brings across her path.

Sonlight Mentor

Jen Moskal Price majored in English at the University of Delaware, so spending a lifetime reading to her children was an appealing idea. She discovered Sonlight early in her homeschool journey, and has used it every year since 2003 with all four of her children. Her oldest graduated from home, and some of the others have gone to public high school. Jen has worked in the Sonlight booth at various conventions for a decade – talking to moms about how to handle more than one HBL at a time, how to balance work and homeschooling, homeschooling as a single mom, and parenting athletes and artists. In her free time, she enjoys driving her kids to their sporting events and trying to convince her husband that he wants a dog.

Sonlight Curriculum Consultant

Before becoming a wife and mom, Amber Severance was a high school teacher and coach at a private school in San Jose, CA. She has been homeschooling since 2002 when her oldest child began pre-k with Sonlight. Amber has five children – one attending graduate school, two in college, one in high school, and one beginning 5th grade. Because of her husband's graduate schooling and employment, she has had the opportunity to homeschool in four different states. Currently living in Lynchburg, VA, Amber is a full-time homemaker who enjoys encouraging others by serving in children's ministry, mentoring college girls, and leading a ladies' bible study.
