By getting knowledgeable now, you are making sure your student will not get left behind when the Common Application and other college application portals open up.

On Sunday, June 12th at 12pm ET, we’re going to discuss how the pandemic has changed the world of college admissions and give you free tools to help make college planning more successful in a one-hour webinar.

Masaraat Asif, the head of College Applications Advising at SoFlo, will cover three key areas and provide time for families to ask questions at the end.

1) Standardized Testing Changes. Test-optional, test-blind, test-flexible – what does it all mean? We’ll explain the various testing policies and what each one means for your application in the pool of thousands of others.

2) Building a balanced college list. We’ll teach you how to predict which schools you will and won’t get into based on a combination of test scores, grades, and acceptance rates. This last admissions cycle many students unexpectedly got rejected from safety schools because they didn’t show enough interest in their safety schools. We’ll teach you how to avoid that mistake.

3) How to start your common app essay. With rising numbers of applicants each year and increasing competitiveness, the essay is more important than ever before. We’ll introduce you to the SoFlo method for brainstorming ideas and writing creative standout essays.

To help you get a jump start on the college applications process, we will share with your some of our helpful resources like a checklist of important first steps during your junior year and a month-by-month timeline to guide you through college admissions cycle.

Don’t miss this chance to learn from an expert, get helpful resources, and better understand the college admissions process!
