A recent report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) highlighted a youth mental health crisis. Nemours KidsHealth launched a nationwide survey of more than 500 youth, ages 9 to 13, to learn more about how often kids worry, what they worry about, and how they cope. (kidshealth.org) Our survey found that more than half of children turn to their parents first for information or advice, but this number dwindles as they get older.

Join our experts as they discuss how to help children cope with worry, depending on their age.

On Tuesday, September 19, join Meghan Walls, PsyD, Monica Barreto, PhD, and Joanna Smith, PhD, as they discuss what’s worrying America’s children in elementary school.

On Thursday, September 28, join Roger Harrison, PhD, Lonna Gordon, MD, and Christina Cammarata, PhD, as they discuss what’s worrying our teens.

During these free, live virtual events, our experts will share results from the national Nemours KidsHealth What’s Worrying America’s Kids survey and answer your questions. This webinar will prepare parents and caregivers to help their kids effectively deal with worry based on their child’s age. After the event, a recording of the program will be emailed to all who registered.
