Pilipinos for Community Health (PCH) and West Angeles CDC (WACDC) have partnered to create a virtual health fair that will aim to ensure that marginalized communities in Los Angeles-- especially those disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic-- receive adequate health education and relevant resources regarding basic preventive medicine and screening to ensure better community health and wellness.
During our CommUNITY Health Fair, participants will hear from local health professionals on various relevant topics such as pregnancy outcomes in minority women, heart health, LGBTQ+ health, and cancer advocacy and empowerment. Local health advocates will provide exercise and healthier living demonstrations. Participants will also have access to a list of clinical and non-clinical (housing, food security, resources for the undocumented, etc.) resources that they can utilize. Please visit our website
https://tinyurl.com/communityhf for free clinical and non-clinical resource lists and information regarding our workshops and speakers. Register today to reserve your spot!
