    Welcome to the 2023 MESA State Advisor Training! Thank you for joining us for another year of MESA. We look forward to seeing you at the MSAT kick-off and closing sessions.

    2023 MSAT Keynote Speaker
    I am Northern Paiute/Tohono O’odhom/Omaha/Mexican. I have been on the Mendocino coast since 2012 with my husband and two children. Graduated Sonoma State 2020 with a BA in Liberal Studies, currently finishing a multiple subject teaching credential through CalStateTEACH. I have worked with students k-12 for over 17 years. Participated in the MESA program as a student and later worked as a MESA advisor and a short time as a MESA coordinator with RISE (Resources for Indian Student Education). I am in my 3rd year teaching 1st-8th grade art, also School district Native Liaison, and also teach art for our afterschool program.
