Flexibility and Backbends: The Series

About This Summit

This series will teach you an accessible and dynamic method for safe backbending so you can find more joy in each posture. You’ll have fun and get challenged as you explore deeper movement with confidence.

This series instructs you through each step to get into the poses, including functional training drills to keep your body strong and safe. We will work with flows that will go through different body-area-specific classes: upper/middle back, shoulders, hip flexors, and the entire back core. We will also work on specific flexibility training exercises and we will then apply these new skills using breath and movement to open the front body and safely relax into your backbends.

Perfect for those who may experience discomfort or fear when backbending, these series will help you move with more confidence, freedom, and joy. The space you create in your backbends will relieve physical and mental stress by allowing energy to flow freely and promote full-body healing.
