Tyler J. Thompson is a partner at Reed Smith, where he advises clients on data privacy, AI governance, and technology transactions. A recognized IAPP Privacy Law Specialist and AI Governance Professional, Tyler holds multiple global privacy certifications (FIP, CIPP/US/E/A/C, CIPT, CIPM) and is also a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE). He brings deep sector experience across digital platforms, hospitality, and franchising, and previously worked at major firms, Fortune 500s, and a startup.
As Chief Information Security Officer and President of Forensics at HaystackID, John provides consulting and forensic services to help companies address various matters
related to electronic discovery and computer forensics, including leading forensic investigations, cryptocurrency investigations, and ensuring proper preservation of evidence items and chain of custody. He regularly develops forensic workflows and processes
for clients ranging from major financial institutions to governmental departments, including Fortune 500 companies and Am Law 100 law firms.
Carmen is an experienced eDiscovery professional specializing in data preservation and collection. She collaborates with IT teams to ensure defensible processes that align with legal hold and discovery obligations. With over 14 years of experience in eDiscovery roles Carmen brings a practical, risk-aware approach to managing electronically stored information across complex matters.
Mike Stacy is the Global Vice President of Solutions Engineering at Exterro, where he leads a worldwide team focused on helping organizations solve complex challenges in digital forensics, privacy, and legal technology. With over two decades of experience in cybersecurity and enterprise solutions, Mike has advised both private and public sector organizations on topics such as cloud security, GRC, insider risk, and data security. Prior to joining Exterro, Mike was Director of Cloud Security at Microsoft and has held various leadership and strategy roles at companies such as Proofpoint and Polycom (now HP). Mike is based in Denver, Colorado and holds degrees in Information Systems and Business Management from Baylor University and a Chief Technology Officer certificate from the University of California, Berkeley.
Brad Harris has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Brad started his career at Tektronix as a Product Marketing Manager in 1980 and remained with the company until 1997. From 1997 to 2002, they served as the VP of Marketing at Intersolv/Merant (now Serena). Brad then worked as a Senior Product Manager at Cadence from 2002 to 2003. Brad joined Hewlett-Packard in 2003 as a Market Development Manager, and in 2004, they joined Fios, Inc as the Director of Product Management and Legal Technology Consulting. At Fios, Inc, Brad was responsible for product management and establishing discovery readiness consulting methodologies. Brad then moved to Zapproved in 2009 as the Vice President of Product and Distinguished Fellow, where he led the product strategy for their e-discovery applications. Brad also worked at Hanzo from 2019 to 2022, initially serving as the Vice President of Product and later transitioning into the role of Vice President of Product and Service Delivery. Currently, Brad is working at Exterro as the VP of Solutions, starting from 2023.

Harsh has held various key roles in leading technology companies, focusing on developing and implementing technical solutions to meet client needs. With a background in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Harsh has a proven track record of driving revenue growth and operational efficiency through innovative product strategies and tailored technical solutions.
Rebecca Perry is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Exterro. Rebecca has been with Exterro almost 30 years. She works with legal, IT, Compliance and Privacy professionals, along with their outside counsel, to accelerate compliance and mitigate risks in the areas of Data Privacy, Data Retention, Data Inventory/Mapping, Data Breach, E-Discovery & Digital Forensics.
Rebecca has been a Certified Information Privacy Professional for the last 10 years and has been in the trenches with clients helping them solve complex data governance challenges.
Rebecca speaks frequently on these topics to groups like the Association of Corporate Counsel, IAPP, PrivSec, Data Protection World Forum and Today's General Counsel. Rebecca also manages strategic partnerships with legal service providers and works closely with law firm partners.
With extensive expertise in information privacy, Gilberto specializes in guiding clients through privacy program implementation and constructing GDPR-compliant Records of Processing (GDPR Art. 30) and DPIAs (Art. 28). Boasting over 20 years as a seasoned Project Manager, he drives innovation across diverse projects in Aviation, Location-Based Services, Energy, Health & Safety, and telecom infrastructure. Adept in GRC, Gilberto actively contributes to privacy initiatives for enterprises and governmental agencies, adeptly navigating GDPR, LGDP, and CCPA regulations. His success extends to Integrated Risk Management and GRC projects within the Pharma industry, complemented by a commitment to knowledge sharing through teaching at esteemed institutions like the US Air Force and US Navy. Diligently staying abreast of evolving industry standards, Gilberto upholds his professional excellence through internationally recognized certifications in Management, Privacy, Agile, and Governance Risk & Compliance.
Jean Donaldson is a Sr. Director, Solutions Consulting at Exterro where she has been a subject matter expert in our product set for 9 years. Prior to joining Exterro, Jean spent 12 years at small law firms in the DC area as the IT Manager/Lit Support manager and 2 years working for Lockheed Martin embedded in the Civil Division of the DOJ where she was the Program Manager for the Litigation Support Training Department and Help Desk.
Fahad Diwan is Director of Product Management (Privacy & Data Governance Products) at Exterro, a market Data Risk Management software provider. In his role, he brings to market products that streamline and automate privacy compliance. Previously, Fahad was a privacy lawyer & consultant and worked at leadings firms like Norton Rose Fulbright, KPMG, and EY.
Justin Tolman is the Forensic Subject Matter Expert at Exterro. He was formerly the Director of Training for North America at AccessData prior to and after the acquisition by Exterro. Justin has been developing written and video programs and training AccessData clients worldwide for almost 6 years. He also consults with clients on investigations and problems related to forensic issues and procedures. In his new role, Justin will be creating content related to forensic processes, technologies, and workflows, including those related to Forensic Toolkit (FTK). He will also interface with forensic professionals’ industry-wide to produce better tools and workflows that will help investigators be more successful in their work. Prior to working for AccessData, Justin worked as a Computer Forensic Specialist for the state of Ohio’s Bureau of Criminal Investigations. Justin has a master’s degree in Cyber Forensics from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology from Brigham Young University—Idaho.
As a former practicing attorney, Nancy understands the difficulties and challenges facing in-house legal professionals and their counterparts as their areas of responsibility are rapidly expanding into compliance, data control, and managing data risk. For over a decade, Nancy has worked for Exterro and is at her best when working side-by-side with clients to imagine new possibilities for solving a variety of challenges using the Exterro technology platform. Nancy also enjoys sharing her knowledge about our software with new employees at Exterro, on webcasts, conferences, and other forums.
Prior to law school, Nancy worked in the Silicon Valley in a variety of fun and challenging jobs, mostly in HR and Finance, for small and emerging companies. Her experience working in the high-tech industry, coupled with legal education and e-Discovery/Information Governance expertise, results in an unusual blend of qualifications and skills that benefit her clients each and every day.
Natasha Garnett is a results-oriented leader with over 20 years of experience in product strategy. She is a Senior Solutions Consultant at Exterro, excelling in translating client insights into streamlined software solutions. Previously, Natasha was VP of Product Management at Sonasoft, where she defined product visions and optimized cross-functional teams. She has also held significant roles in UX/UI development and client engagement. Natasha ensures high-quality user experiences from concept to market adoption.
Bree Murphy is a Senior Solutions Consultant at Exterro. Prior to joining Exterro, Bree worked as a project manager for a Service Provider and was the eDiscovery Manager for the Corporate Legal Department at a global insurance company. Bree also has 15 years of experience as a complex commercial litigation paralegal specializing in litigation support/ eDiscovery at several prestigious law firms in Houston, TX. She also worked with one of the nation’s largest international financial institutions performing Anti Money Laundering investigations.
Bree obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX and received Paralegal Certification from the Center of Advanced Legal Studies in Houston, TX. She has served on the AccessData Customer Advisory Board, is a Certified eDiscovery Specialist (ACEDS), served for over four years as the Membership Director for the Houston Chapter of Women in eDiscovery (and several conference planning committees), and is currently serving as the Membership Director for the Houston Chapter of ACEDS. Bree is also the co-host of the eDiscovery Chicks Podcast.
Angie Hoffman is a Solutions Consultant, specializing in Privacy, at Exterro. She started her legal, compliance and information governance career at Jordan Lawrence, which was later acquired by Exterro. She has worked with hundreds of companies to identify their data and help them to manage it compliantly and defensibly, as a Professional Services Manager, then later as a Senior Client Success Manager. Now with over 10-years’ experience, Angie is a Solutions Consultant and is showcasing Exterro’s privacy solutions to customers and prospective buyers. Angie has worked with companies such as Santander Bank, lululemon, Fifth Third Bank, NHL and Cedar Fair. Volunteering is near and dear to her heart and she specifically enjoys volunteering for JDRF, supporting their mission to cure Type One Diabetes.
Dan Carroll is a senior product manager at Exterro, overseeing the forensic product line. He previously worked at Ipro where he managed their analytics products and before that he was the Director of Voting Equipment Certification at the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office. He completed his bachelor’s from Arizona State University and resides in Gilbert, Arizona with his wife and two kids.
Dana Gurski is a Training Instructor for Exterro’s training department responsible for assisting clients with product training, workflow issues, use case examples, and guiding users on solutions available. Prior to joining Exterro, Dana began her career with a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Forensics. Dana has also obtained several certifications in forensics with the most recent being GIAC’S Battlefield Forensics and Data Acquisition. For the past 7 years Dana worked with enterprise level organizations to acquire data for litigation and compliance, troubleshooting infrastructure complexities, migrating to the cloud, along with producing e-discovery data. Dana has specific experience with Microsoft 365 integration and is subject matter expert working with email data.
James Blackburn is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in designing and delivering course content, recording video content, and presenting at conferences. He currently serves as a Senior Instructor at Exterro, where he delivers training courses to legal and IT professionals. His role involves developing curricula based on software updates, recording LMS content, and creating assessments. James previously worked at AccessData as a Litigation Support Instructor and Product Support Representative, providing custom training and technical support. He has been with Exterro for over 15 years.
Michelle LaRock, CEDS has been with Exterro for over eight years, primarily serving as a Senior Project Manager in E-Discovery software implementation. With extensive experience leading complex client engagements, Michelle now works as a Professional Services Consultant, helping organizations optimize their use of the platform through best practices and tailored workflow solutions.
