Embedded firmware stacks now routinely support multi-mode, dynamic switching, and SIM/eSIM/iSIM combinations. The trade-offs between power/cost and feature-set are real.
Engineering for long-lifecycles in remote locations is crucial for deployments in remote or under-accessible areas.
